Teaching Philosophy
As an educator, I want my classroom to be engaging, efficient, and productive. However, it has always been very important to me that I recognize that the students and colleagues I work with have other commitments other than my program or class. People in today's society are often valued only on their output rather than their full being. I want to help my students find balance while learning to appreciate music and the arts. In part, my philosophy can be broken down into three main statements:
